Donate to Jose Luis's Urgent Hand Surgery

(En español abajo) Friends, We are asking for your help so Jose Luis Carrillo Gutierrez can have his hand operated on quickly to save the use of his thumb. Jose Luis has been my main man designing and building the amphitheater at the Colegio La Esperanza over the past eight years. He was home repairing a door which opened causing the buffer to slip and cut through the tendons of his hand. He needs to have a very specialized hand surgeon repair his hand quickly to regain its use. The cost of the physical tests in preparation for the surgery is $350 dollars. The cost of the surgery is $2300 dollars and he will be out of work for six weeks meaning he needs another $1500 dollars plus additional doctor visits of around $240. These costs add up to $4390. He has two little kids at home.

Anyone who has come to the volunteer days or is familiar with the La Esperanza schools know Jose Luis and how hard he has worked. If you can help us to help him it would be a godsend.
