Hello, my name is Desirae Lopez. I'm creating this GoFundMe in hopes of finding some support in this hardship that my family is going through.

On March 24th, at odd hours in the night, a heartless thief came into our private apartment complex and stole my husband's work tools, a lot of which he used daily to provide for me and my daughter. We did call the police immediately after realizing at 8:00 in the morning, but the police said that this was a report that was to be filed online; they could not send out any sort of peace officer to take the report. Luckily, our apartment complex has security cameras that caught this thief red-handed stealing my husband's tools.

As we have already been having a financial hardship, this incident has only made things much more complicated for us. My husband is self-employed and does handyman jobs. All he had were his tools to provide for his little family. It's very heart-wrenching to know that someone would go and steal the belongings of someone else without having any idea that that's how they feed their family.
