Support Jose Leon: Help with Medical and Recovery Expenses

Reaching out to ask for your support for Jose Leon, the self-employed owner of Two Harbors Media. Recently, Jose faced a serious medical emergency that led to a week-long hospital stay and life-saving abdominal surgery known as a bowel resection with anastomosis. This procedure involved the removal of three non-functioning parts of his small intestine, and he's now on the road to recovery at home, under the loving care of Kim.

As you can imagine, the financial burden of going through a major medical crisis is overwhelming. Unfortunately, this situation occurred during a gap in his health insurance, leaving Kim and Jose to shoulder this financial crisis. Funding raised will assist with Jose’s medical and living costs while he is unable to work. He needs our help in a big way!

To help alleviate this burden, an initial fundraising goal of $7,500 has been set to assist with medical expenses and recovery costs.

A benefit event is planned for Wednesday, September 10, 7–9 PM at the Superior Tavern. Please come out for music and more and offer community support for Jose Leon's medical expenses. Jose and Kim have greatly contributed to our local music scene. The night will also kick off a weekly Wednesday Night Open Jam.
