Support José Lam's Theological Education Journey

Donation protected
Higher education is expensive. If you study out-of-state, it's even higher. If you study out-of-country, the cost goes up even more! My friend José Lam completed his studies from Erskine Seminary in 2021 but has not been approved for a loan in his home country of Panama. I am seeking to help him mitigate some of the costs for his Master's Degree.
The money collected will go directly to Erskine Theological Seminary. Would you help?

Here is some more information about José:
My name is José Arturo Lam, I am from Panama, C.A. I'm married and have one daughter.
I have served as a pastor in the First Baptist Church of Balboa since 2013. Before a full-time pastoral position, I was serving by playing piano in the church.
Balboa is a congregation consisting of about 120 people each Sunday.
From 2014-2017, I served as president of the board for MINTS (Miami International Seminary) in Central America.
I am a musician by profession. From 2006 to 2010, I worked in a ministry where music was utilized in an effort to reach children and young people in order to help them learn how to play a musical instrument.
From 2009 to 2016, I worked in a Christian School as a 5th grade teacher.
From 2019 to 2021, I was a Bible teacher for 4th to 12th grade.
From 2022 to present, I have served as the Director of the Panama Christian Academy. This school has a focus of evangelism toward the Chinese community in Panama. The school has 890 students enrolled as of today.
In 2018 I began my studies at Erskine Theological Seminary (MDiv). These were completed in December 2021.
During my time in seminary, a desire began to grow in me toward the study of History. Some of my professors have motivated me to pursue this and my interest is directed toward PhD studies in the field of Church History.
In 2021 I was accepted as an Associate Member of the "Iglesia en Movimiento" of Lake Placid, FL, a congregation of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.
In April 2023, I was accepted as a student under care of the ARP Florida Presbytery. I am currently in the process of pursuing licensure and ordination within this denomination.
The Lord has placed a great desire in me to serve Him wherever He places me, utilizing the gifts of teaching and theological formation.
My desire is to have the appropriate ministry tools in order to labor in the harvest fields of the Lord.
Thank you for your consideration of support.
