Hi everyone. My name is Juana Chavez Cruz and I’m fundraising for my husband José Cruz. My story starts back in June 2023. My husband had a Massive hemorrhagic Stroke causing him to go into shock and into open brain surgery within 4 hours entering the hospital. He had 70% bleed on his right brain. God may have other plans for him because he came out alive but into a coma for 4 weeks. As a family of 5 my kids and I were heart broken and scare. My husband pulled through a total of 3 months in the hospital and 3 months in a rehabilitation center with a catheter, breathing tube and feeding tube. Thank God he came home with only a catheter which was taking out 2 months later. Now his recovering very slowly with physical theraphy, occupational theraphy and speech therephy. He’s left side is at this moment paralyze and he’s learning how to do everything all over again. I’m his caregiver and I’m also a mom of 3 and the head house holder. Im fighting for my family everyday but I’m running out of options. My family needs me and I’m trying to keep holding up a roof over our heads and taking care of their dad at the same time.
