Support Jose (Choco) Cruz's Critical Recovery Journey

Dear Friends and Family,

On Friday, January 31st, our world changed in an instant. My son, Jose Cruz, was involved in a severe car accident. He was trapped in his Dodge Charger, which was wrapped around a metal pole and split in half. He was stuck inside for about 35 minutes as firefighters worked to free him. Once rescued, he was rushed to the Level 1 Trauma Center at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.

Jose has suffered life-threatening injuries, including multiple fractures, a collapsed lung, and significant brain swelling. He’s been placed in a medically induced coma to help with the swelling and is now beginning his long road to recovery.

As we face this incredibly challenging time, we humbly ask for your support.
