Support Jose’s Fight Against Brain Cancer

Hello, my name is Kevin McCullough and I am asking for your help for a friend and a family in need. Jose Alvarenga is a loving husband and devoted father to two daughters. Jose' is also one of the hardest working people I know regularly putting in 6 or 7 days a week of physical labor to provide for his family. Jose’ has been my Mom’s part time landscaper, gardener, and handyman since my Dad passed away in 2007. He has helped my now 89-year-old mother for over 15 years by coming to work for her on his days off from his regular job.

Recently his wife Yesica informed me that he was unexpectedly taken to the hospital where they found a brain tumor and he was rushed into surgery. The tumor was removed but they found it to be malignant and cancerous which now requires Jose’ to undergo a second brain surgery which will also be followed up by an aggressive treatment plan and lengthy rehabilitation.

Jose’ and his family are now facing a very difficult journey on the road to his recovery, and I am looking to help the family navigate the additional burdens they now face of lost income and uncovered medical expenses. My wish is for Yesica and her daughters to be able to focus on helping their father get better instead of worrying about how they are going to pay their bills every month.
