For those of you who don’t know me personally, my name is Jorja Levario. I am working towards a bachelor degree in Spanish, with the plan of earning my masters degree in Education. With these two qualifications under my belt, it is my goal to instruct higher education with my passion for language and human connection.

I'm reaching out to you with immense excitement and a bit of anxiety as I strive toward a journey that has the potential to shape my academic and professional career. I am set on inspiring the lives of those around me, fostering a greater sense of empathy and understanding in our community.

This upcoming year, I have the remarkable opportunity to study abroad at the Universitat de Barcelona. This is more than academic growth. To me, this is about connecting communities, bridging cultures, fostering understanding, and discovering new parts of myself. By jumping headfirst into the heart of Spain, I hope to grow and gain insights that will add global awareness to my teaching. Completing a year abroad allows me the chance to inspire a love for language, drive for learning, and cultural diversity in my students.

However, I can't do this alone. The costs associated with studying abroad are significant, including tuition, travel expenses and living costs. As a college student, I'm reaching out to my community for support. Your contribution, no matter the size, will directly support these expenses and make a tangible difference in helping me fund this transformative experience. It has been an enlightening few years full of tenacity. Those of you who are close have become aware of the faced adversities. I solely need a little more of a collective push to accomplish this life changing goal.
