Support Jorge's Stroke Recovery and Growing Family

Urgent Support Needed for my Brother In Law's Recovery.

My sister Fernanda and her husband, Jorge, are facing an unimaginable challenge. On February 24th, Jorge suffered a devastating ischemic stroke, requiring an emergency Hemicraniectomy surgery. (procedure operating on his skull and brain to alleviate swelling) Three weeks into his hospitalization, Jorge remains paralyzed on his left side, unable to fully speak, eat, or move without assistance.

As they prepare to welcome their first child in just two weeks, my sister is overwhelmed with caregiving responsibilities and mounting medical bills. Sadly, Jorge's health insurance in Mexico has excluded coverage for any brain-related incidents, leaving them responsible for all expenses incurred from this recent stroke.

The road to recovery will be long and challenging. We are unsure of the exact length of Jorge's recovery, but we do know that he will require a full-time nurse once he's able to return home, for at least a year. Additionally, he will need extensive long-term physical therapy to help him regain movement and mobility in his limbs. These necessary expenses will add up quickly, and your support would be pivotal in helping them navigate this challenging time.
