On July 3rd, 2025, during what was supposed to be a regular Facebook Marketplace transaction, two innocent young men were ambushed by six people in an attempted robbery. One of the victims, my friend Jorge Zendejas, was shot during this altercation and luckily survived. He was immediately rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.

Although we are very thankful for his safety and current state, there is a long journey ahead in recovery. Between covering the cost of the ambulance, hospital bills, and being out of work for the foreseeable time, we need the community to help the victim cover these costs to recover. Funds will be given to Jorge to help cover the costs of his medical bills and other expenses while he is out of work for the time being.
