Jorge Valdez is not just my coworker in security—he’s a dedicated friend who has always shown up for others. Recently, Jorge faced a serious setback. As a diabetic with a below-the-knee amputation, he relies on a prosthetic to get around. Unfortunately, a sore developed from his prosthetic, and it quickly became infected. The infection was so severe that Jorge had to be hospitalized for treatment.
