We are reaching out to you with a heavy heart to share the story of our beloved family member, friend and father,Jorge who is currently facing an unimaginable situation.

Recently, Jorge was detained by ICE and is now facing the daunting task of returning to a country he hasn’t set foot in for over 40 years.

Jorge has spent the last 3 years building a new life after being released from incarceration to give ve back to the community to show that has has learned from his past mistakes and wanted to show that he was a changed man by being a good father and a respectable person of his community . He had been working tirelessly to rehabilitate his life and give back to the community that supported him during his most challenging times. He has always been a beacon of light, offering support and kindness to everyone around him by giving sharing his story and mentoring youth so that they wouldn’t have to live a path as he did. He now unfortunately finds himself in a precarious situation, facing an uncertain future as he prepares to return to a homeland that feels foreign to him.

The challenges Jorge faces are significant. From navigating the complexities of international travel to securing basic necessities upon his return, the costs are overwhelming. We are seeking to raise funds to help cover his travel expenses, legal fees, and essential support as he transitions back into a country he barely remembers.
