Help Jorge and His Wife, Gigi, Through His Battle With Leukemia

My name is Yuriana, and I’m creating this fundraiser on behalf of my stepdad, Jorge, who was recently diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia—a devastating and aggressive cancer that has completely changed life for him and our family.

Jorge has always been a strong, dedicated, and kind-hearted man. As the sole provider for himself and my mom, he worked tirelessly to ensure they were taken care of. But since his diagnosis, he’s been unable to work, and their world has turned upside down.

To make matters even more challenging, my mom is now living full-time in the hospital by his side, caring for him day and night. With Jorge in treatment and no income coming in, the mounting medical bills, housing costs, and daily expenses are becoming overwhelming. They’re doing everything they can to stay strong, but they can’t do this alone.

Jorge is more than just a family man, he is a deeply involved member of his church, known for volunteering every Sunday and lending a hand wherever needed. He and my mom share a love of camping and traveling, having explored many beautiful places together. They’ve always cherished the little things in life — a weekend under the stars, a homecooked meal, or a quiet walk at the Jetty.

Now, they need help.
