Have you ever asked yourself, “Why is it always the good ones?” Jorge, my brother-in-law, is truly one of those good ones. He is always ready to help anyone in need; generous, talented, hardworking, loving, and a true fighter. One of his greatest passions is dance. For years, Jorge ran a dance company and dreamed of starting a youth program to inspire teenagers through the arts and help keep them on a positive path. A brief example of how big Jorge's heart is.

Sadly, in early January, Jorge received devastating news: he was diagnosed with Stage 3 pancreatic cancer. Despite this devastating diagnosis, he remains determined to fight with everything he has for the chance to stay with his family as long as possible. Jorge is a proud father to a 5-year-old who sees him as a superhero. The love and support of his family give him strength as he faces this incredibly difficult journey.
