Hello everyone my name is Juliana Vazquez. This is my dearest uncle Jorge Vazquez. Please take time and listen to his story. Jorge is the oldest of 6 brothers and sisters, both of his parents deceased at a young age leaving his siblings to care for him. My uncle since his teen years has been handicap & has blood sugar problems. My mother was able to bring him to the states for more advanced care. My mom had everything under control as regards to his health. Everything he needed she provided because she loves him and loved caring for him. Everything was good for 15 years up until last year of 2024 his health problems started to accumulate. Ever since then and now he has been diagnosed with bladder cancer, heart issues, kidney failure, and he is paralyzed from the waist down. He is unrecognizable with how much his illness has hit him. He is hospitalized in the ICU at Duke University fighting for his life. The Doctors have stated that there is not much left to do but to wait until God is ready for him to go home.
Now a little bit of Maria Vazquez. Maria is my mother the youngest of 6 kids. Known as coco to most. My mother is the strongest woman I know till this day. For 14 years she was able to bring her oldest brother to the states and take care of him simply because of love. I have never seen my mother so mentally exhausted & heart broken. She has been a single mother most of her life and still managed to give me and my siblings the best of the best. She is incredibly stressed on regards to how she will bury her brother because unfortunately you still have to pay to have your heart broken. Today I come to you all and dearest friends and family and other brothers and sisters we walk among, to ask of everyone for the helping hand and show my mother good people still exist. Please help us say goodbye to our uncle the right way. I have always been terrified of asking for a helping hand. I’m always the person to figure it out, but we all can only handle so much. All donations will go to my uncle Jorge’s medical expenses & life expenses. Thank you all may god continue to bless you all and the less unfortunate. We love you all.
Mi tío desde su adolescencia ha sido discapacitado y tiene problemas de azúcar en la sangre. Mi madre pudo llevarlo a los Estados Unidos para una atención más avanzada. Mi madre tenía todo bajo control con respecto a su salud. Todo lo que él necesitaba, ella le proporcionó porque lo ama y le encantaba cuidarlo.
Todo estuvo bien durante 15 años hasta el último año de 2024 sus problemas de salud comenzaron a acumularse. Desde entonces y ahora le han diagnosticado cáncer de vejiga, problemas cardíacos, insuficiencia renal y está paralizado de la cintura para abajo. Es irreconocible por lo mucho que le ha golpeado su enfermedad.
Está hospitalizado en la UCI de la Universidad de Duke luchando por su vida. Los médicos han declarado que no queda mucho por hacer más que esperar hasta que Dios esté listo para que se vaya a casa.
Ahora un poco de María Vázquez. María es mi madre, la menor de 6 hijos. Conocido como coco para la mayoría. Mi madre es la mujer más fuerte que conozco hasta el día de hoy. Durante 14 años pudo traer a su hermano mayor a los Estados Unidos y cuidarlo simplemente por amor.
No había visto a mi madre tan agotada mentalmente y con el corazón roto. Ha sido madre soltera la mayor parte de su vida y aún así se las arregló para darnos a mí y an mis hermanos lo mejor de lo mejor.
Ella está increíblemente estresada con respecto a cómo enterrará a su hermano porque, desafortunadamente, todavía tienes que pagar para que te rompan el corazón.
Hoy vengo a todos ustedes y a mis queridos amigos y familiares y a otros hermanos y hermanas entre los que caminamos, para pedirles a todos la mano amiga y mostrarle a mi madre que todavía existen buenas personas.
Por favor, ayúdanos a despedirnos de nuestro tío de la manera correcta. Siempre me ha aterrorizado pedir una mano amiga. Siempre soy la persona que lo resuelve, pero no todos solo podemos manejar tanto. Todas las donaciones se destinarán a los gastos médicos y de vida de mi tío Jorge.
