Support Jorge's Battle Against Brain Tumor

Hello! My name is Maria and I am the daughter of Jorge, aka Marris Pizza's Long Beach Pizza King for 35 years+, who has been battling a major health crisis as of last month.

Jorge, my father, is a very kind and lively man who makes everyone around him feel happy and comfortable. He adores spending his days laughing endlessly and making unique memories with our family at the park. His work plays an important role in his life as well, and he tackles it with a strong feeling of passion and purpose. Unfortunately, we are currently dealing with the heartache of his recent brain tumor diagnosis. Even with this heartbreaking news, he faces it with the same love and strength he has always given us.

About three months ago, my father began experiencing troubling symptoms like forgetfulness and moments of confusion. Initially, we attributed these issues to minor health concerns, but things took a turn for the worse when he started showing signs of a stroke. We took him to the ER, where doctors discovered a tumor on the left side of his brain. He underwent a biopsy to determine the nature of the tumor, but we never received the results. Instead, he was recently rushed for an urgent MRI, which revealed that the tumor had been growing. This development has been both shocking and distressing for our family.

My father has always been the sole provider for our family, including myself, as my mother has been unable to work due to her own health issues. He was the primary contributor to our household, and his ability to work was crucial for meeting our financial needs. With his current health situation preventing him from working, I find myself struggling to cover our expenses to the same extent. As a result, we are now facing difficulties with our rent and need assistance to manage these financial challenges. Despite my efforts to contribute as much as I can, it's clear that we need support to get through this difficult time.
