Support Jorge Solano's Fight Against Cancer

If you were to ask me to think of a family that is the model of true love, kindness, and fun, I would immediately think of the Solano family. If given time to spend however they wanted, Nicole, Jorge, Jonah, and Elijah would choose to spend that time with each other because, for them, it is truly family first. Whether that time is spent camping, at church, or simply building Legos at home, they just love being with each other.

Nicole and Jorge worked very hard to build this life for their family, especially during the 20 years that Jorge was in the Coast Guard. After so many deployments and moves across the country, Jorge's retirement from the Coast Guard gave them the one thing that their family had been missing: stability and consistency in their daily routine and being able to put down roots in Virginia Beach along with both of their families.

Just as this life they worked so hard to build was becoming stable, life threw them a terrible curveball. As many of you know, Jorge has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He recently had a distal pancreatectomy and will be starting an intense round of chemotherapy. Although Jorge is hoping to be able to work during his treatments, it is unclear whether that will be possible.

Please keep all of the Solano family in your prayers during this difficult time. Your donations will go so far to help this wonderful family maintain as much stability as possible throughout Jorge's treatments. If some of the financial burden can be taken off of their plates, it will leave them able to focus on staying strong in their faith and positive in their hopes and dreams for the future of their family.
