Stand with Jorge Mendez in his Time of Need!

Hi all,

My name is Stephanie and I am starting this fundraiser for a dear friend of mine, Jorge Mendez.

On May 29th, 2024, Jorge had a terrible accident with a deer while riding his motorcycle which broke his hand. He was then rushed to the Emergency Room and admitted in the hospital for 5 days. After an emergency surgery, he now has screws and pins holding his fingers together. He is extremely lucky to be alive!

Jorge makes a living as an amazing tattoo artist, but with a broken hand he is unable to work. He is the sole wage earner in his household. He now has the unfortunate burden of not only accumulating medical expenses with no medical insurance, but he cannot make money to support his family, which includes two beautiful children, or pay for living expenses (food, mortgage, car, etc). Life is difficult enough without extreme circumstances.

He is the kind of person who will help anyone in need, no matter what it costs him.

He never asks for help from others and starting this fundraiser was a difficult decision to make. However, these events have put him in a dire situation.

We are now asking those who he has helped along the way and those he may help in the future to please pitch in and help!
