Hi, my name is Jorge Melgoza.

Two years ago, I survived something most people don’t an emergency aortic dissection. It was a sudden, life-threatening condition that required immediate surgery. I’m incredibly grateful to still be here... but the road since the has been anything but easy.

During my recovery, I developed a severe infection and suffered a stroke. That stroke took a lot from me my mobility, my independence, and my strength. Every day since has been a battle.

Today, I live with constant lower back pain. My legs feel heavy and weak. I can’t walk without a walker. Even the simplest things getting out of bed, making a meal, putting on clothes take every ounce of energy I have.

But I refuse to give up.

Why I Need Your Help

To continue my healing journey, I urgently need:

Physical therapy and rehabilitation
