Jorge Castro is a devoted father of two and a talented freelance photographer known for his love of the outdoors and his infectious, bubbly personality. Recently, Jorge’s life changed in an instant when a driver crossed the yellow line on Rahn Rd and hit his car head-on. His four-month-old daughter was in the car with him, but thankfully she was unharmed. Jorge, however, suffered serious injuries, including breaks to both femurs and one ankle. He now faces a long road to recovery and will soon be moved to a rehabilitation facility.

Jorge has always been one of the kindest people I know, someone who brings joy to everyone around him and cherishes every moment with his kids. Right now, he’s unable to work and is in between jobs, which makes this time especially challenging. He was just approved for Medicaid, but there are still many expenses that aren’t covered. The funds raised will help Jorge cover his rent, groceries, and childcare for his daughters while he recovers. Immediate support is especially important, as he has energy, phone, and water bills due within the next week.
