My stepdad, is one of the most caring and thoughtful people you could ever meet. My mom was truly the most amazing human being—she gave with all her soul, even when she had little to give. She spent every free moment with her grandkids, creating memories and sharing her love. Her husband worked six days a week to make sure she could do those things, always putting family first.

If anyone ever needed help, he was there. He spends his free time with the grandkids, taking them to the park and supporting every school or church event I organized —he just shows up to help, never expecting anything in return. He did the same for my mom, and for anyone who needed a hand. If someone had car trouble, he fixed it. If you were moving, he’d just show up to help. He loved my mom dearly, and I am so grateful she found someone who matched her beautiful soul.

Sadly, my mom passed away on December 6th. The loss has been devastating for all of us, but especially for him. Alongside his grief, he is now facing the challenge of covering funeral expenses, rent, and other financial responsibilities. We are working on solutions, but in the meantime, I want to do what I can to ease his burden.
