# Help Jorga Greenwell on Her Road to Recovery

Jorga Greenwell is a ray of sunshine to everyone who has the privilege of knowing her. She is feisty, spirited, fiercely loyal, and loves her family and friends with her whole heart. She is a devoted wife to Timmy a loving mom to her two boys, Elijah and Lucas, and her angel in Heaven, Rosie.

Many people know Jorga for the magic she creates in her salon and, more importantly, for the way she makes every person who sits in her chair feel beautiful, confident, and loved.

But on Monday, September 28, 2026, Jorga’s life changed in an instant.

Mondays are usually Jorga’s quiet, stay-at-home-alone days, but this particular Monday she had scheduled a color analysis at her salon for two sisters. In the middle of their appointment, Jorga suddenly suffered a brain aneurysm.

By what can only be described as incredible timing, one of the sisters happened to be a neuro nurse for many years. She immediately recognized what was happening and told her sister to call 911.

Within just six minutes of that call, Jorga was in an ambulance. Shortly after arriving at the hospital, she was life-flighted to Baptist East Hospital in Louisville.

When Timmy arrived at the hospital, he was greeted by the chaplain. The medical team knew just how serious Jorga’s condition was.

Once she arrived in Louisville, the neurosurgeon didn’t sugarcoat the situation. He explained that approximately 50% of people who suffer a brain aneurysm don’t survive long enough to reach the hospital, and that if the artery wasn’t repaired within 24–48 hours, the outcome could be devastating.

But Jorga had already defied the odds.

Within six hours of the aneurysm, Jorga had been flown to Louisville, taken directly to the operating room, and her medical team successfully coiled the artery. They also checked to make sure there were no additional aneurysms.

And then came another Jorga moment.

Just four days later, she is talking, fighting, and already irritated that she’s missed several days of clients at her salon.

God has been with Jorga every step of this journey, and we are incredibly grateful for the quick thinking of those sisters, the emergency responders, the doctors and nurses, and everyone who has surrounded Jorga and her family with prayers and love.

But her fight isn’t over yet.

Jorga has a road of recovery ahead of her. There will be medical bills, follow-up care, therapy, medications, and time away from the salon she loves. As a self-employed stylist, time away from work can create an especially difficult financial burden—not only because of medical expenses, but because the income she relies on isn’t coming in while she heals.
