Hello, my name is Dulcie Molina, and I’m raising funds for my daughter, Jordyn Bender, whose home was destroyed in the Pack Fire in McGee Creek, Mono County, on November 13.
The Eastern Sierra has been part of our family’s life for decades, which makes this loss even more heartbreaking. That morning, fierce winds fueled the fire that spread within minutes. Jordyn rushed home when she got the alert—but by the time she arrived, flames were already closing in.
She had less than ten minutes to escape. By some miracle, she managed to grab her cat and a few belongings before evacuating. Everything else is gone.
Jordyn lost:
Her home
All of her furniture and household items
Nearly all of her clothing and personal belongings
Important documents and cash
A sense of stability and security
She is truly starting from nothing.
We’re raising funds to help Jordyn with immediate essentials—clothing, food, and temporary housing—and to begin the long process of rebuilding her life.
Any amount makes a difference, and if you can’t donate, please share this link to help spread the word.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your love and support.
