Saturday April 4th at 9:10PM, my niece Jordyn Dabelstein, was stopped at a stop light in Lubbock Texas. A three quarter ton truck plowed into the back of her vehicle. Jordyn’s back was broken in three places and her spinal cord was severed. We’ve spent the last few days holding her hand, praying for a miracle. This morning the neurologist confirmed that there is no brain activity and we have to let our sweet girl go. Jordyn was a 22 year old junior at Texas Tech. She was studying to be a registered nurse. Jordyn was the sweetest, kindest, girl who loved nothing more than her family and her animals. My sister Melodey, her husband Carl (Buddy), Jordyn’s siblings Cheyanne, Cody and Kassidy are experiencing the worst thing any family can imagine, nor should have to. We’re asking for anyone who has a little to spare to donate towards Jordyn’s funeral costs.

We’ve gotten very little information from the police. No media coverage. We also need your help in putting this out there to pressure the police to tell us more and get justice for Jordyn.
