Support Jordyn's Bone Marrow Transplant!

In 2015, Jordyn was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia (she was 15 years old), where the body stops producing enough new blood cells to keep one alive. Fast forward to today (she is 20 years old), drug treatments and blood transfusions have not been able to reverse the Aplastic Anemia. 

The only remaining available treatment to keep her alive is a Bone Marrow Transplant. 

Jordyn has fought hard these past few years. Her strength and determination have allowed her to walk this journey, not alone, but with the support of her family and friends.

This week,  her doctor's recommended she remove herself from her junior year of college at UNC Charlotte and Jordyn hopes to return when this is all behind her.

In preparation for Jordyn's transplant, she is faced with chemotherapy and radiation to kill all her bad bone marrow and immune system followed by the transplant.  Jordyn will be in protective isolation for at least a year.  

This process will cost approximately $800,000.00.

We are grateful and blessed that Jordyn is still here with us. She is the oldest of two children, we are a close knit family and we will continue to rally everyday to support her through this journey.
