Support Jordyn Martinez After Nezar's Passing

Hello my friends. We are starting a GoFundMe for Jordyn Martinez. This comes in the wake of her partner, Nezar Brahim’s passing.
Jordyn had already been struggling with medical expenses due to lackluster health insurance that fails to cover her diabetes expenses and debt collectors hounding for previous medical expenses. She was already working to get time off through FMLA prior to Nez’s passing. Unfortunately, even that assistance does not cover her standard income. In addition to that, she is a single mother to her beautiful daughter, Nayeli, going through such a tremendous loss while raising a child on her own.
Between memorial expenses for our beloved Nezar and life expenses, she is admittedly struggling and is turning to her community for some help. If you know Jordyn, you know that she has been financially independent most of her life and asking for help does not come easy for her.
If you cannot contribute financially, there are other ways to help! Please consider volunteering for setup and/or teardown of Nez’s memorial, meals and/or beverages, contribution towards a multitude of craft stations including pop-ups, if you are a DJ and would like to play a set… the list is endless and the help would be greatly appreciated! Nezar lives on in the many hearts he touched. He always showed up for others with generosity, kindness, humor, and heart, ready to help anyone in need. Let us carry that forward, for his honor, for his partner, and for us all who loved him so much. This is the beauty in community!
