Two years ago, Jordyn and Taylor bravely embarked on their IVF journey—a path filled with hope, heartache, and resilience. After facing the challenges of diminished ovarian reserve for Jordyn and low motility for Taylor, they turned to IVF with the dream of becoming parents.

As many know, IVF is not just a medical process—it’s an emotional rollercoaster, one that tests the limits of patience, strength, and finances. Their first IVF round in 2023 was filled with uncertainty and cautious hope. Out of six eggs retrieved, only one embryo made it through the complex process and grew strong enough to be transferred. That one embryo became their miracle baby: Elliott King. Against all odds, their dream came true.

Recently, Jordyn and Taylor began a second round of IVF, hoping to give Elliott a sibling and grow the family they so deeply long for. Unfortunately, this round didn’t bring the same joy. Only three eggs were retrieved, two fertilized, and one reached the blastocyst stage—just like their first round. But this time, the embryo resulted in a chemical pregnancy, an early miscarriage. After all the emotional and physical toll of another cycle, the heartbreak was immense. To come so close, only to lose the baby early, has been a deeply painful experience.

Despite the setbacks, Jordyn and Taylor remain hopeful. They are meeting with their doctor soon to explore options for a third IVF cycle, but they can’t do it alone.
