Support Jordan's Stroke Recovery Journey
Donation protected
Hi everyone, my name is Andy Gale, and I’m reaching out to our community to help support a dear friend and colleague, Jordan, who recently suffered a stroke. Jordan is the Compostable Serviceware Sales Manager here at Bay Area Recycling for Community, a non-profit dedicated to sustainability in Northern Michigan.
Jordan Byron has been a vital part of the BARC team, tirelessly working to promote green initiatives and sustainable practices. His commitment to our mission has made a significant impact on our community. Sadly, on Friday, June 21st, 2024, Jordan suffered a massive stroke, resulting in the loss of all use of the right side of his body. He is currently in recovery, which will take over a year. While he is showing incredible strength and resilience, he will be out of work for an extended period.
As a result of this unexpected medical emergency, Jordan is facing significant medical bills and other expenses during his recovery. We are raising funds to help cover his medical costs, daily living expenses, and rehabilitation so he can focus on healing without financial stress.
Your support can make a huge difference in Jordan's life. Whether it’s a small or large donation, every bit helps. Please consider contributing and sharing this campaign with your friends and family. Together, we can provide the support Jordan needs during this challenging time.
Let's come together as a community to support Jordan. Your generosity will have a direct and meaningful impact on his recovery journey. Thank you for your kindness and support.
If you are located in Northern Michigan and would like to support Jordan in person, join us at our fundraising event, "Hotter Than July," on July 27, 2024, at Little Fleet. The event will start at 7 PM and feature live music from Same Eyes, Blum, and Virga, as well as a silent disco with Botola and Clark After Dark. There will be a $10 cover charge at the door. This event will help raise funds for Jordan's recovery!
