My name is Jordan O'Donnell. This campaign is to try to recoup funds that were stolen from me by someone I thought was a best friend. I allowed him into my house and while I was showering, he stole my entire life savings. Now, I know it’s not smart to keep cash savings in the house, but I had been doing it my whole life and it had been safe for 25 years. But as soon as I let this person in my home and went to shower, he rummaged through my entire room and closet full of shoeboxes until he found the one with the cash in it. In total, he stole about $25,000 cash, and since then, my life has been hell.

I had been living in my car/hotels for over a year with a pet cat, spent over $30k in hotels, and have struggled with anxiety, depression, and major health issues from this situation. My teeth are rotting out of my mouth. I need various surgeries(full mouth restoration[up to 6 months recovery], bone growth in right foot[3month recovery], and deviated septum[3 weeks of recovery] with costs into the tens of thousands, I have finally found a place to live with my girlfriend but we are struggling financially and are pretty desperate because as seen in the photo, I have face tattoos and cannot get jobs easily. This savings was there to be a cushion and start a business for myself so I no longer would have to struggle in the job market. I had everything set until I lost it all. All because of someone who stole it all from me.

I filed with the police, went to court, he plead guilty and it has been almost 5 years since, and I still have not been paid my restitution. Even though he plead guilty and is supposed to pay restitution monthly, I haven’t been paid in over a year and have only seen a couple hundred dollars of restitution in total. I’m asking for your donation and support to help me get my savings back because the justice system has failed me. My victims advocate will not answer any calls, his probation officer just keeps telling me to wait but my girlfriend and I are struggling to pay bills, feed our cats, get any type of groceries, and keep our place to live because of this. We struggle and continue to go into debt everyday so we are pleading for your help to us get back to financial security.
