Jordan Wells was recently involved in a devastating motorcycle accident. The crash left him with broken bones, open wounds, and internal injuries that will forever change his life and the lives of his loved ones.
Upon being admitted to Kingwood hospital, Jordan's injuries included a broken nose, stitches in the eyebrow, eyelid and lip, broken wrists, broken fingers, broken femur, shattered and displaced kneecap, open knee, shattered foot, toes and heel. Days later, his condition worsened with blood clots and bleeds in his upper GI. Every day it seems like they find something new to add to the list, however, his left leg is now their main concern. He was transferred to Clear Lake, where a special tool will be used to try and save his leg. The road to recovery is long and uncertain, and every day brings new challenges for Jordan and his family.
His mom, Renee Wells, has been by his side every step of the way, making the difficult journey to ensure Jordan receives the best care possible. This has meant staying in hotels near the hospital and arranging child care for her grandchildren while she is away. There are also medical expenses and preparations to be made for Jordans return home, for examle a hospital bed and an XL wheelchair. The financial strain of travel, lodging, and child care is overwhelming, especially as Renee focuses all her energy on supporting Jordan through his recovery.
We are grateful that Jordan is now in a hospital better equipped to handle the complexity of his injuries, but being far from home is tough for him. He needs his Mama more than ever for emotional support and comfort. We are asking for your help to ease the burden on Renee and make sure Jordan receives the support he needs during this critical time. Your generosity will help cover travel, child care and medical expenses, allowing his family to stay close to Jordan and provide the love and care he needs so desperately right now.
