Support Jordan's Journey to Healing

My name is Jordan. For over 12 years I have suffered from multiple chronic pain conditions. My pain started after an injury, compression fractures in my thoracic spine due to trauma. Over the years my health has deteriorated, leading to many other pain conditions, trauma, heart complications, physical, mental and emotional health. It is a very long list of diagnosis and the symptoms I go through in just one day. I've seen every physician from Fargo, ND to Minneapolis, MN. My care team consists of multiple different specialty physicians & nurses including, Neurology, Cardiology, Gastroenterology, EMDR and Psychiatry, Orthopedics, Pain clinics, Endocrinology, OB, Physical/Occupational therapy, etc.. I've had 24 injections in my back, Radio-frequency ablation to destroy the pain-transmitting nerves. Every single treatment there is for my conditions I've done. Countless times. Chiropractor, physical therapy, pool therapy, diet/exercise, all topical pain relievers, heat & ice, steroid injections. I've had surgeries, I take 35 medications daily including mental health medication and continue receiving care/follow-ups from each individual doctor. The pain and symptoms, side effects I endure on a daily basis are debilitating. Due to the severity of my pain, I take a very high dose of Acetaminophen which has led me down the path of chronic liver disease for years and my AST & ALT enzymes are very high. I frequently have (imaging) ultrasounds, MRI's, CT scans, biopsies, Endoscopy, lab work, x-rays, medication changes, infusions and I'm in the emergency room quite often. I am thankful to be a patient at the Mayo clinic in Rochester, MN. I am a single mom of 2 kids and I am a recipient of disability benefits. God knows I'm strong but it's time that I don't have to be alone in fighting for my life and the weight of all this pain I carry. I currently receive public assistance but they have limited funds and resources. My admission date at the Mayo is, March 25. This program is Pain Rehabilitation that consists of therapy, medication management, many different specialists to figure out how I can acquire quality of life and not suffer (so much) any longer.

I will be in Rochester for 22 consecutive days. I am embarrassed to say that I'm in need of your support with food and lodging costs for the duration of my stay. There is already a discounted rate for me as a Mayo patient and unfortunately the expenses for this are still high. For someone like me, who tries to save everyone else and never asks for or accepts help, I am asking for your kindness and compassion in helping me begin to find relief from the pain I endure every single day. I may not look 'sick' on the outside but I can assure you everything inside is killing me. Prayers mean the most but your donation is also very much appreciated.
