Help Keep Our Daughter Jordan in School and in the USA

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

We are reaching out with hopeful hearts to ask for your support for our daughter, Jordan Adams, an international student pursuing her dreams here in the United States.

Jordan began her studies at the University of Minnesota Duluth in August 2023 with great determination and promise. She made the Dean’s List in her first year and served as a Resident Assistant, showing both academic excellence and leadership in her campus community. She is majoring in Journalism and Publishing , with hopes of one day using her voice and knowledge to preserve and share important cultural stories.

However, as international students and their families often face, we’ve encountered significant financial challenges. We paid $36,000 out of pocket for her first year, but unfortunately, we were unable to afford her final semester at University of Minnesota Duluth. Jordan had to pause her studies, putting her academic progress — and her F1 visa status — at risk.

In order to access better financial aid and continue her education, Jordan is transferring to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, which offers support for international students that UMD does not. But before she can register for her fall classes, she must pay a remaining balance of $6,000.

We are humbly asking for your help to raise these funds so that Jordan can return to school this fall and maintain her visa status. Your support will not only keep her on track academically, but also allow her to remain with us here in the U.S., where she has worked so hard to build a life and future.

Jordan is a dedicated student with big dreams, and she has never let financial hardship stop her from giving her all. She studies hard, works hard, and is committed to making a difference in her field. Every contribution — no matter how small — will make a meaningful impact.
