Hey everyone!

For those that don't know me, my name is Jordan Snell and I'm the Children's Minister at Shiloh Road Church of Christ in Tyler, TX. This May I have the opportunity to join with a group of Children's Ministers and go to Kenya to put on a conference for a large group of Church leaders. Village church leaders have requested resources and training to help them teach their children about God. They have limited resources but greatly desire to increase their effectiveness in teaching children and teens. The availability of the internet has created even greater concern for parents/leaders, as their children are exposed to Western media and social media. They want to be more intentional in encouraging their children's maturing faith.

We have the opportunity to put on a Children’s Ministry Conference in the city of Kitale, Kenya. A local seminary will be rented, including dorm space, that will sleep 200 people. We are raising money to host 200 church leaders at the seminary and, over the course of 2.5 days, equip them to teach young people. Local African leaders will select church leaders to represent churches within a radius of approximately 150 miles from Kitale. The conference has the potential to impact many churches and organizations. We are also raising funds to bring 200 children's bibles to send with the church leaders, this would be a huge things for them and provide them a great way to teach the kids.

I am so excited for this opportunity and cannot wait to see all the ways God will continue to bless this trip and the ways He will continue to work through not only us, but every person we come into contact with while we are there.

We are called to serve; to be the hands and feet of Jesus and I cannot explain the joy I have for this opportunity I have been blessed with.
