Support Jordan Jones' Road to Recovery
My daughter’s sweet boyfriend, Jordan Jones, was involved in a hit and run accident on May 14, 2024. He was driving home from work on a moped (small motorcycle) when he was hit from behind by a white GMC or Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck on Veterans Parkway in Moultrie, GA. The truck didn’t stop nor did it even slow down. The speed was estimated at 55+ miles an hour when it hit Jordan. Jordan is 19 and has his whole life ahead of him. He is currently in NICU in Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. He has a skull fracture, brain swelling and a brain bleed. He broke is left arm and elbow requiring two surgeries. He currently is battling an issue with his heart that the doctors are trying to figure out.
Jordan lives at home with his mama. They are facing numerous medical bills from the icu, ambulance services, neurosurgeon, trauma orthopedic surgeon and many more medical expenses. He doesn’t have any insurance. His mom and dad are having to pay for travel expenses, hotels plus meals just to be in Tallahassee with their son. Any donation you can give would help this family out tremendously. If you can’t give a monetary donation then please send prayers. He has a long road to recovery.
Go to walb.com to see the full story and surveillance video of the truck hitting Jordan. We are praying the truck and driver can be located.
Thank you all for your prayers, kind thoughts and donations to this young man and his family.
