Hello everyone let me tell you about my best friend. His name is Jordan Cherry he was born and raised in McKees Rocks Pennsylvania. A graduate from Sto Rox high school. He has a family who he provides for with two daughters , Nakiya Cherry age 11 and Nakaela Cherry who is a new born and a son who is his name sake, Jordan Cherry Jr, 4 years old. He is also engaged to the mother of his children Ashley Bowe who he has been with for over 11 years. On August 23rd a tragic event took place in my friends life where he was out enjoying a fun filled evening that quickly turned into fear and pain. While riding a quad with a fellow family member Jordan was thrown from the vehicle and snapped his ankle in two places rendering him helpless on the ground before the paramedics arrived. Now he is in the hospital where he has now had two surgery’s keeping him on bed rest where they are monitoring his ankles process as he begins his journey to recovery. His recovery process will be long and difficult which will prevent him from returning to work anytime soon. As the main bread winner for his family this injury has left him with uncertain thoughts on how he will provide for his family trying to get his ankle, body, and mind back to normal. He is a great man, loving father, and an even better friend. If you know Jordan than you know his light to this world is his loving presence when he walks in a room and his bright smile that can change anyones mood right around. I say all that to say this he needs our help and he’s not one to ask for a hand out but anything we can do to help ease him through this process would help tremendously. He’s a great guy and he’s my best friend and if you know my pal like I do you know he would do the same for you with no hestation!! Thank you for the support!!
