Dear friends, family, and music lovers,

Jordan Lerner and I are excited to announce that this fall we will be recording our first record together alongside two dear friends and incredible musicians, Ryan Devlin and Ian Ashby. We have been dreaming of this moment for years, and with your support, we can finally make it happen.

Our Story

Jordan and I met in the first year of our undergraduate at the Eastman School of Music in 2017. Since then, we have spent countless hours playing together while being influenced by some of our heroes, Elvin Jones and Steve Grossman. We’ve played together for close to 8 years now and we’ve always dreamt of putting a group together that could carry on the sound of our heroes, through our own unique musical voices as we have grown throughout the years.

In the summer of 2022, a seed was planted when Jordan reached out to the incredible saxophonist, Ryan Devlin, while he was on tour with Gene Perla and Adam Nussbaum. His group played a show in Rochester and since then Ryan has come back to Rochester multiple times. Both Jordan and I have been blessed to play and build a beautiful relationship with him. Most recently, Ryan brought his trio including Ian Ashby and before our eyes a quartet was forming that Jordan and I have always dreamt of. Both Ryan and Ian have been incredibly gracious in agreeing to be a part of this project and this is something we can’t wait to share with the world.
