Hello everyone! I am starting a GoFundMe on behalf of my mother, Jordan, and my brother, Jacob.

My mother has always been the core of our family. Jordan is the kindest, sweetest soul, and she has always worked tirelessly to provide for those around her. If you know her, you know that she works on her feet all day as a hairdresser and helps boost all of her clients' confidence by styling their hair to perfection.

Unfortunately, she is facing a battle against Stage 4 Chronic Kidney Disease which has progressed to requiring a kidney transplant. The physical and mental toll on her has been extremely hard for her over these past several years. However, Jacob has stepped forward to generously donate one of his kidneys to our mom. It is an incredibly selfless act that we are so grateful for, but it also means that both of them will be facing significant recovery periods, financial burden, and time away from work.

As a hairdresser, my mom’s livelihood depends on her being physically able to stand for long hours, which she won't be able to do for quite some time. Jacob works at Walmart Warehouse and will also no longer be able to lift heavy pallets at work for quite some time. We are starting this GoFundMe to help cover all of the medical bills that will be stacking up, and the loss of income for both my mother and brother during their recovery.

Any contribution, no matter how small, will help ease the financial burden so they can focus entirely on healing. We really want my mother to have the best recovery possible, as organ donation is very hard to come by. We will be the fifth kidney transplant surgery performed in NV.
