My name is Dawn Butler and this is my fur baby Joplin. I rescued her as a little pup in Joplin, Missouri, while doing mission work. Though I rescued her, it's really her that has rescued me and changed my life. This girl is my very best friend and has kissed away more tears and heartache than I'd like to admit. She's been there through some of my darkest days and brings me comfort when I'm lonely. I can't imagine losing her before I lose myself in a spiraling depression.

Joplin was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma and will need medical intervention to save her life, even if but for a few years. I NEED TO SAVE THE GIRL WHO SAVED ME❤️

PLEASE help if you find it in your heart. The smallest amount helps; the prayers, the kind words, and your love ALL HELP. The surgery can be scheduled when I can pay 60% of the surgical expenses upfront. Total expenses are estimated at $2,500 after all surgical and possible radiation expenses, which will not be known until after surgery.

I know some family and friends will look down on me for asking for help, but I'm not embarrassed, ashamed, or a bad person for wanting to do everything it takes to try and save my best friend.
