Support Jon's Recovery After Motorcycle Incident

Donation protected
My name is Madison Cornett (Jon's wifey). On May 29th, when Jon was coming home from work, his motorcycle fell on him. We think he set the kickstand down on a pinecone when he was in our driveway, and when the pinecone slipped, it kicked the kickstand up and the bike tipped over. Jon was in just the right spot between the bike and his car that he got pinned under it. With help from my brothers, they got the bike off of him, but unfortunately, it caused his tibia to snap all the way into the joint. I think the official diagnosis was a tibia plateau fracture. Because of this nasty break, he was taken into surgery on Tuesday the 3rd, where they did an open reduction internal fixation of the left tibial plateau fracture. Don't watch the video on that kind of surgery on YouTube; it's awful, as Jon can tell you.

With Jon being out of commission, he can't work for at least 3-6 months at the bare minimum. We have a new baby at home, and with Jon needing constant attention and assistance, me going back to work is not in the cards for us. Thankfully, we have our 2 older girls who want to help, but there's only so much they can do lol. It takes a lot for me to ask our friends and family for help once again, but to keep our family afloat with the medical bills, regular bills, and loss of income, we could really use all the help we can get. Jon has a long road ahead of him, and it's going to be excruciating... Please keep us in your thoughts while we navigate this very difficult journey ahead.
