My name is James Aiken, and I am raising money to help my brother after a brutal attack by an armed gunman in Henderson, Nevada. My brother, Jon, is autistic and was on his way to catch a bus home when he was attacked in the middle of a crosswalk on Lake Mead Boulevard.

The assailant hit Jon in the jaw, mouth, and side of the head multiple times with a loaded handgun, knocking him to the ground. There was absolutely no reason for the attack. The attacker, who was found to be on drugs, was threatening multiple people with his gun. Jon, being a vulnerable person, was the only one attacked and beaten senselessly.

We are beyond saddened by this happening to such a kind man who would never hurt a fly. People who know Jon love him for his giving heart.
