Hello all. This is the Hobbs family. He has been fighting polycystic kidney disease for a few years now, and with his transplant, he has gone through it well. However, in the last few months, his health has dropped significantly, and he has started undergoing dialysis to counteract the failing transplant. On top of this, he has had a few falls lately due to instability on his feet, which has caused blood infections and caused him to fracture his hip, along with other injuries. He is handling the replacement hip well, especially with the dialysis and other complications. But due to the straining nature of his condition, he has been unable to work for months, and the recent hospital transactions have started to stack up. We are hoping to get him into assisted living to help his hip heal properly. So currently, he is just being treated and undergoing dialysis. To better his condition and get him back on his feet, we wish to raise enough money for him to start assisted living and the treatment he needs, in the hope that it will get him more used to the new hip. We are hoping to get him to a place so he can go about his normal life by himself or with moderate assistance, so that he can heal further and, with luck, find another transplant. If you are close to him or have been impacted by his positive light, we ask for your support for him during these tough times and the spread of his story to help raise awareness. Any donations given are very much appreciated!!
William, Julia, and Madison Hobbs
