We’re heartbroken to share the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Ionica Melia — lovingly known to us as Jonny.

Jonny worked with us for a time, and in that short period, he made a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was one of those rare souls who radiated warmth, kindness, and positivity. No matter how tough the day, Jonny faced it with a smile. His hard work, gentle nature, and upbeat spirit lifted those around him.

Outside of work, Jonny had a passion for gardening and loved growing his own vegetables. He was happiest surrounded by nature, with animals by his side, and spent his life traveling and exploring the world. His heart was big, his laugh unforgettable, and his friendship deeply valued.

Now, we are coming together to honour Jonny in the best way we can — by helping return him home to Romania, so his family can lay him to rest surrounded by those who love him most.
