Jonny Sobel, a beloved bar manager at The Red Inn in Provincetown, recently suffered a devastating injury when a box of glass bottles shattered on his legs, causing a complete tear of his distal extensor hallucis longus tendon and a partial tear of another. He is scheduled for surgery on September 5 to reattach the severed tendons, and faces a long road to recovery, including at least six weeks off his feet and months of physical therapy. As a result, Jonny will be unable to work for the rest of the season and well into the off-season, leaving him without his primary source of income during a critical time.

Jonny is more than just a coworker—he’s the heart of The Red Inn family and a cherished member of the Ptown community. For nearly five years, he’s been the first to arrive and the last to leave, always going the extra mile to help others and lighten the load for his team. His kindness, work ethic, and generosity have touched countless people, both at work and throughout Provincetown. Now, as he faces mounting medical bills, transportation costs for trips from Provincetown to Boston, and the challenges of recovery, Jonny needs our help.
