Support Jonny and the animals at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve

WOOHOO!!!! It's official!! Jonny has been offered a job. Not only a job, but Jonny's passion job as The Animal Care Assistant at The Autrey Mill Nature Preserve/animal sanctuary... the same place he's been volunteering for the last few months. Jonny is THRILLED! All he wanted was a job and all I wanted was for him to have a job that he was excited to go to each day. He did it!

Do you know that it's FREE to visit with FREE parking? And that the Preserve is a non-profit that counts on donations to keep their operations going, including vet care for all their animals. We all know how expensive that can be, so Jonny wants to help and hopes you will support his mission too.

With a $25 donation, your name will be added to the back of Jonny's staff shirt that he will be wearing to work each day. 100% of your donations will go to the Preserve. So not only will you be supporting Jonny by "Having his back," but you will be supporting all the animals he cares for. Let's show Jonny some Love. I know he will be honored to wear your name on his shirt!

I can't thank you all enough for your support all these years. YOU have been there and it means the world to all of us.

Let me tell you a little bit about the Nature Preserve, Jonny's little gem. It's located just a few miles from home, in Johns Creek (so convenient for Jonny).

Located on 46 acres of ravine forest and historic past, this nature preserve's 3+ miles of walking trails wind past a scenic creek with rocky shoals, spring seeps, mature trees, wildflowers, native plants, and a variety of animal life. A Heritage Village has been created with four buildings original to the site and four landmark structures moved from nearby properties. This village and its related exhibit pieces provide an understanding of this area's proud rural heritage from the mid-1800s to the mid-1900s. Replica Native American dwellings are nestled in the woods to remind us of those who walked these forests before us and to teach the lessons of a culture that respected and carefully cared for the environment. Our Visitor Center houses over 30 different animals you can learn about and offers a unique educational experience. The Visitor Center is open Tuesday-Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday, from noon to 4 p.m. Park hours are 8 a.m. to 9p.m. Visit the website here

Jonny and all his animals hope to see you at the Preserve!
