Hi, I am Mary Rohner. I'm helping to raise money for my sister, Joni Rohner, so that she can pay her rent and get caught up on bills. My sister is a single mom. While two of her children have moved, she is trying her best every month to keep a roof over her and her youngest son's head. Right now, she is helping her youngest get SSI/Disability because of his condition brought on by a childhood trauma in which he suffered burns on his back leaving life long nerve. She works full time and has health issues, poor mobility that require doctor visits, hospital visits over the years dating back to 2022, and the medicines she takes drain her financially. She has attempted to seek help with financial assistance through Vancouver Housing Authority and St Vincent DePaul only to be denied assistance. Right now, she has to pay two months lot rent and her mortgage by the 4th day of September or else she risks possible eviction.
