Support Jondy’s recovery journey

Hello, my name is Cindy. I am here to knock on the door of your hearts to raise funds for a family who’s close to my heart.

Jondy is my friend’s son who recently got into a major car accident on a freeway in San Remo along with 2 other young men.

On impact, Jondy acquired significant injuries and is in critical condition. Due to the serious mechanism of the injury, he sustained multiple abdominal trauma, requiring multiple operations.

His scans show he has severed his spinal cord with multiple spinal fractures. The doctors have given him a high prognosis of not being able to walk again, a paraplegic.

He remains in the hospital, in a coma. Unfortunately with further complications, his left leg lost circulation. The doctors have decided it was in his best interest to amputate his left leg.

Jondy is a bright, energetic, talented and responsible young man, with so much potential. He loved playing basketball and was gifted to be a great basketball player. He loves all his younger siblings & he loves his mum. He is at his prime, proving his capabilities to share the burden of his mother being the breadwinner. This tragic change to his new lifestyle would be challenging, not only to him but to his family as well.

His mother Princes needs our support as well. Being the breadwinner, she provides to all 6 of her children while residing in a 3 bedroom home.

During Jondy’s recovery, she will need to take a lot of time off work, she will need to turn the garage into a room which will be equipped suited to Jondy’s new mobility capacity, on top of that she will need to look after other medical cost associated with his recovery.
