Help Jonathan Buri recover from Transverse Myelitis

Our dear friend Jonathan Buri was diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis on 1-24-26. This is an inflammatory autoimmune disorder where your body produces antibodies during an illness with a virus that then attack peripheral nerves, causing progressive paralysis. Very luckily for our friend, he got treatment early and the paralysis was halted before he needed to be put on a ventilator. Unfortunately, Jonathan is currently paralyzed from the waist down.

Jonathan is an incredible friend to those who know him and the most amazing drummer for the band Tone Sober. He is also an exceptional dad to his three children at home.

While the prognosis for recovery from Transverse Myelitis is very good, it is also very lengthy. It is unknown how long it will be before he will be able to walk again. He is currently working diligently with PT/OT with the goal being to regain full mobility. It could take anywhere from a few months to a full year before Jonathon is able to walk again. During his extended hospitalization and rehab/recovery, he is unable to work and normal bills and now hospital bills keep rolling in. Any financial support would be greatly appreciated and help take some pressure off him while he quite literally learns to walk again. Prayers and encouragement are also appreciated.

We are believing Jonathan will make a full recovery and be back to drumming with the boys of Tone Sober again soon!
