On Thursday night, October 2, my life changed when I was involved in a near-fatal rolled car crash. I suffered a severe head contusion and multiple injuries to my limbs, and I am incredibly grateful to be alive. Right now, I am in the hospital facing a long and challenging recovery. As a dedicated student at Travis High School, this tragic event has put my education and my future on hold. The medical bills for my treatment, procedures, and required physical therapy are already overwhelming, and I am unable to work while I recover.
