God is actively moving in Nigeria. The Holy Spirit is touching people’s lives. People have a hunger to find their true identity and purpose in life.
Jonathan Ukwuoma felt the call to share the Good News of God’s love to his home community in Nigeria. Two years ago, God lead him to pursue his Master of Divinity at AIIAS in the Philippines.
Jonathan’s mission is clear: to return to Nigeria as a fully trained minister, ready to join what God is already doing there.
Paying for AIIAS has been challenging. While studying Jonathan has worked as a colporteur selling book. Now he is serving as the pastor of the African Community at the Adventist University of the Philippines, where he earns a modest income. His wife, Love, contributes by preparing and selling food within the AIIAS community, but their combined earnings are not enough to cover the tuition and expenses required to finish his studies. Yet even when it seems humanly impossible to continue, Jonathan believes God has the way forward taken care of.

Jonathan’s determination to join God's work is unwavering, but he needs your help to cross the finish line. Jonathan has just six classes left to finish his degree.

Interesting details:
- Jonathan and Love have 4 children: Girl 11, Girl 8, Boy 6, and Girl 4.
- Jonathan was inspired by the AIIAS class "Discipling for Mission." He dreams of returning to Nigeria and working with local churches to improve discipling practices.
- The family is active in the AIIAS African Community. Love is a talented singer who often teats AIIAS with her vocal praises.
The organizer will transfer all donations into Jonathan's AIIAS account to be used for tuition and fees.
