Meet Jonathan Rockett, a 10th grader from Clinton High School who isn’t just throwing shot put… he’s launching it into the record books. Right now, he stands as the #1 shot putter in the state of Mississippi — and he’s earned his spot to compete at Nike Nationals!

Now here’s where we need a little help from our village…

Getting to Nike Nationals isn’t just about talent — it’s about travel, flights, hotel, and all the behind-the-scenes costs that come with chasing a dream. We’re working to raise $3,000 to get Jonathan there so he can represent Clinton, Mississippi, and show the nation what he’s made of.

Jonathan isn’t just strong — he’s disciplined, respectful, and puts in the work every single day (rain, shine, or when most of us are still in bed ). He’s chasing something bigger than himself, and this opportunity could open doors for his future.
